My Specialties & Approach

I have over 10 years of experience in private practice and specialize in treating trauma, anxiety and mood disorders such as BPD, PTSD, GAD, OCD, and major depression. I enjoy learning and am constantly working to improve myself in order to provide as many treatment options as possible as we know one size doesn’t fit all and not everything works all the time.

My clinical background is quite varied and includes a history of providing individual and group therapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). While a solid foundation and certainly a continued part of my practice, I have since trained in, and also pull from a wide variety of other modalities such as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and the Flash Technique for Trauma just to name a few. I am a certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Eye Movement and Desensitization (EMDR) provider as well as a certified Tai Chi and Hatha Yoga Instructor and have completed extensive training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga.
